ive asked several Pac fans this question. usually they either don't respond or say its because of the youtube video. my educated guess.

Someone in the know tipped off floyd sr. Just like someone in the know tipped off brother nazzim about margaritos gloves. The boxing community is real tight. Trainers workwith different fighters, cutmen, promoters.etc. Sparring etc.

Well Manny always DID TAKE THE TESTS RQUEIRED in boxing and always came out clean then comes a fighter saying take EXTRA TESTS just because im worried you are taking something because you are very good and strong ..
then claim that he wants to clean up the sport (LOL) when only two months earlier he fought JMM and did not mention cleaning up the sport.

now Manny agrees to take the tests just not extra tests just becuase the brat asked him to.

to answer your quastion Floyd knew that Manny will refuse his bull becaues its bull and why some one who is as rich and famus bend to Floyd rules when there are already rules set to protect all fighters.

He didn't know... but when you accuse someone of being a cheater and then tell him to take the tests and prove he's clean or there will be no fight, there's a big chance that guy will tell you to go **** yourself.

Also, how did Pac know that Floyd would turn down his compromise? Floyd could easily have said "Alright, 24 day cut off date, lets get it on."

A 24 day cut-off date for blood testing only, not urine testing, offers a hell of alot more prevention than Floyd's previous 38 opponents. There's realistically no way in hell that Pac can know beforehand that Floyd will turn that down. Especially when Floyd said OK to a 14 day cutoff when he thought Pac gave blood 14 days before the Hatton fight (which turned out to be 24 not 14).
