I think it is purely his interest in politics. He had stated previously when he had run and lost, that if elected his boxing career would be cut short.

Im sure you do realized Flyod has no reason to retire back then other than to duck Cotto, Margarito, younger Mosley, Williams and with only 39 fights in his carrier. Pac on other hand had his plan to serve the people, he lost last election, and this time he won, with over 50 fights in his carrier, 7 title in different divisions, P4P#1, what is there to prove? BTW, he was about to fight Flyod, until Flyod requested his own testing which ends up killing the fight!!!

          and what weight class?

          Great more irrelevent information.

He has been interested in Politics for the longest and has ran before in the past. You act like he just rolled outta bed a few weeks ago and decided to be a congressman. He says it won't affect his boxing career, and I believe him. He was filming a movie, had training camp during a natural disaster, doing concerts etc...and still destroyed Cotto. I doubt this political stuff has an effect on his career.

to speak the truth, the testing was already part of the deal, until Pacquiao changed his mind, he needed almost a month cutoff(which would be most of the training camp), Mayweather compromised with 14 days, Pac refused.

floyd retired when the division was hot

then came back when alot of them lost to each other, and fought someone much lighter, and out of the division.

but this doesnt get mentioned cuz hes floyd and can do no wrong.

The guy has a lot of fights from a very young age, His mum wants him out and there is also his interest in politics..I think thats all good enough reason. And i would never question his reasons to be honest.
