nah Duran reps his Mexican side too

but this topic sucks; these discussions on nsb usually result in race wars (don't know why people can't appreciate the great boxing history from both places).... the thread starters a troll

The K.O.'s came the same way against top notch competition. At 160 out of his weight class he KO Joppy the champ. Thats why I think at 140 hed be to much for chavez since he is KO middleweights in 5 rounds just like he did bums at 140. That tells me that all he has to do is land, and chavez get hit alot so you do the math.

At 140 against bums is not the same as fighting JCC at 140 for you green kid...

              Get some sense man.

theres always an excuse when a puerto rican loses to a mexican or whoever, Gomez got ****d by a skinny figher, and dont give me that he was moving up or was weight drained bull**** excuse because gomez fought smaller opponents as well.

I don't see why PRs can say they're better when JCC beat 3-4 top PR fighters. He destroyed camacho who IMO is one of the best PR fighters that ever lived ( and one of my favorites )

btw im not a troll. Im not mexican or PR so im not picking sides. I got respect for latino scrappers.

Who gives a damn? he might be born and raised in Panama but he sure got his genes from his father (who was mexican) which is technically why he was so good, Mexicans in boxing are warriors and Duran (who was not raised around Mexicans) competed like one.

                      Get that through your head.
