This goes to show you how bad the Philippine government really is. I know that in every country elections are somewhat of a popularity contest. But in a country like the Philippines it's a true popularity contest.

IMO Manny has no business in politics. If he were an average athlete he wouldn't even be invited to the local mayor's office. Manny has a good heart and is a respectable humanitarian. But being a good hearted humanitarian in a place like the Philippines doesn't add up to success in politics. Manny can accomplish what he wants in the Philippines without a seat in politics. That's a very cut throat country when it comes to government.

Don't get me wrong, he'll ride his popularity for a while but believe me, most of his decisions will be influenced by others in that corrupt government. Manny needs to focus on what he does best, and that's lacing up the gloves and throwing his hands.

And as for a fight with Mayweather, the entire nation of the Philippines will sink into the Philippine Sea if Manny loses. That's how huge this fight will be. Most Americans can care less if Floyd loses because he doesn't represent his country like Manny does his. It's not a question if Manny can beat Floyd but he MUST beat Floyd. Good luck with that.

Hahaha. If you only knew what I know about your Philippines. Even though I do not live there full time I do own a home there in Zambales.

I am not going to act like like a full fledge Pinoy but I do know how the Filipinos operate.

Except for not being born and raised there I've been going back and forth to the Philippines for the past 19 years so I do know a little something about your backyard.
