Martinez looked slick against Pavlik but that's Pavlik...the guy is not difficult to hit...Paul Williams hit him a lot(although so did Paul)...

I know people are on the Martinez bandwagon currently but I'm not convinced after watching him beat Pavlik(already exposed by grandpa B-Hop) and Paul Williams who has leaky defense...

Martinez engaged in a gun battle with Paul Williams. And yes, Paul Williams hits harder than Mayweather. Kelly Pavlik hits harder than Mayweather. The point is, Martinez did not hesitate to engage with them.

Not only that, he's a southpaw with a great right hook. Stamina will not be an issue in this fight as Mayweather does not pressure like Williams or Pavlik does. This fight will be fought at a slower pace.

No fighter want's to get hit with counter punches. Whether they carry a lot of power or not. And Sergio is no exception. And if he wades in recklessly he will eat plenty of them.
