Damn look at the poll. When Floyd Mayweather, a former Super Featherweight, can't even be underdog against the WBC/WBO & Ring/Lineal Champion and Elite 160 fighter like Sergio Martinez; It makes you wonder how does this guy stay motivated to keep "trying to prove himself to his haters". I mean, last guy this guy was underdog against was Diego Corrales and he knocked him down 5 times en route to a TKO10 corner stoppage.

You would think Sergio Martinez is the ultimate challenge for Mayweather since he "arguably" beat Williams(I thought Williams won rightfully), decisively beat Pavlik, and owned Cintron.

when people talk about martinez being as skilled as pbf then you're hyping up....looking skilled against pwill and pavlik don't make you as skilled as pbf. pbf ud's martinez at 54

May spars with heavyweights and does quite well

At times you may feel his defense is overrated. But its time like these where its underrated

Martinez might not move around cause Floyd is smaller, but that'll also be his way to a L. But you cant use May style against him. That holding the gloves low is not a good idea. Same height as Oscar, only 2 inches in reach. Interesting fight. May looked taller against Mosley than he did against Oscar tho, anybody notice that. Looked more upright

Absolutely he'll give May a lil trouble in the early rounds, but question is when round 6 come and May adjust to his style and punches, what will happen

When Floyd adjusts to Martinez it will get ugly for Sergio. Those right hands will be flying.

I think some of you guys are forgetting some things..... Martinez got knocked out by MARGARITO! You think Margarito would stand a chance against Floyd? Floyd humiliates Margarito over 12 rounds. Not to mention Mosley destroyed Marg, and we know what happened when Floyd met Shane.

ALSO, Martinez got a DRAW against Cintron. Yup, that's right, Cintron. Floyd would beat Cintron with his eyes closed.

Pavlik doesn't stand a chance against Mayweather either. Floyd would be dancing around laughing his head off as Pavlik plods towards, lunging with lazy jabs, missing and then getting a sharp hard right to the chops from Mayweather.

I do however think Paul Williams has a chance, but that is only due to his style, his reach and his pace. Then again, he didn't do great against Margarito either.

Martinez is a GREAT fighter, but he's just not on the same level as Floyd, and neither are Sergio's past opponents.

P.S. Cotto's my fave fighter, I think Mayweather is an *******.

                    Floyd by UD.

You're not going to out box Floyd, even a "fat" version.
