    Martinez=Ruiz, Pacquiao=Tarver...Dont do it Floyd!!!

    Floyd Mayweather has reached the age in boxing where it becomes dangerous to screw around with your weight. If Floyd decides to move up and fight Martinez at 154/160, then he can forget about ever beating Pacquiao at 147, because it aint going to happen.

    Roy Jones tried to be Superman by winning the Heavyweight title, and ended up kneeling before Zod when he returned back to his natural weight. Its never worked in the history of Boxing and Floyd is no different.

    Well... Roy put on a lot of weight considering he was moving from LHW 175 to HW around 200.

    Floyd would fight Martinez, and he wouldnt weigh any more than 155.

    He probably fought Mosley and weighed 155 on fight night.

    Floyd wouldn't be building himself up like Roy did.

      If Floyd fights Martinez at 154 he'll weigh 148-150 on fight night.

      If Floyd fights Martinez at 160 he'll weigh 150-152 on fight night.

      He wont put on alot of weight for either fight. If he beats Martinez he doesnt even have to beat Pacquiao.

      Floyd said he couldnt even get to 150 for the Mosley fight.

          Point taken. But right now, this second, Floyd has the perfect physique for that weight class, why would you even gamble and screw around with such a good thing?

          Moving up will not improve his 147 abilities, and can only be a detriment.

            Because taking the MW crown would be worth it.

                    Yeah I don't see a problem with it.

                    Unless somehow Oscar was cherry picking.
