Fighting like he normally does puts him in punching rage.

Using lateral mivement made it almost impossible for Garcia to touch him while still winiing most of all rounds.
    What's wrong with changing styles?

I thought that was impressive altough obvioulsy he wonb't be able to do that with higher calibre opposition.

I think the 'new style' is a direct result of him no longer having an edge.

Couldn't expect Margarito to look his best after the Mosley beatdown, even if he wasn't coming off a long layoff. Still guys he can handle, but I think elite guys at 147-154 burn him.

OK, different angle - he looked lazy in there after the first few rounds, like he wasn't even trying. Gone was the relentless and focused punching machine we're all used to, and in steps a wannabe slickster who relies on the ref to warn his opponent every 10 seconds.

Not to mention the clowning which may have worked against someone like Garcia (who clowned him right back), but would come off as laughable against top-level opposition.

Worst comeback fight I've seen since Hopkins-Ornelas.

He wasn't laughing when he got knocked down in the 1st did he??

So? He started laughing afterwards, which made it even better. The KD didn't affect him one bit.

Man, Margs is now slower than ever and seemingly has no power except if he catches his man flush from a good angle. He had to rely on the ref to warn Garcia for holding and pushing down, when he was the one fouling constantly. That was one of the worst fights I've seen for a while.

Consider me officially a Margarito hater from this point onwards. :yuck:
You talking about the way Margarito boxes but yet you're a Katsidis fan lol.I'm a fellow fan as well but Margarito is a million times a better fighter.

When he turned ''Sugar Ray Leonard'' in there he was already way up in front,he had the fight won.
I just think he thought why get hit when he could just go by simply by moving and using his reach.Nothing wrong with that.
Even after he started to move he still outpunche Garcia easily since he wasn't throwing at all.
If you really think about it it was a perfect comeback fight.

Ummmm are you really that much of an idiot?? You expect someone who's been away for over a year to suddenly come back and knock every body out?? lol
