Losing to a washed up Morales......beating an even more washed up Morales after Raheem did it....getting outboxed my Marquez twice.....fighting David Diaz @135,...beating a drained Oscar at a weight he didnt fight at in a decade....beating Hatton after Mayweather knocked him out.....beating Cotto at a catchweight, and beating Clottey who just loss to Cotto?
yeah those are great accomplishments
oh and i didnt even mention the draws on his record and the 2 knock out losses....
please tell me how that equates to fighting the best out there?
hypothetically, i would give floyd more credit for fighting an old & weight-drained hopkins compared to a fat & bloated marquez.
also, its funny how you guys seem to think ricky was DEVASTATED after the floyd loss. HAHA. ricky walked out of there with a hefty paycheck and a smile.... the only thing he lost was some self-esteem. LOL. so dismissing manny's win over ricky is not gonna work... oscar was faded when he fought BOTH.... after fighting floyd, oscar decides to get a few more fights in.... after fighting manny, oscar quits PERMANENTLY.... also dont talk about sloppy seconds, jmm already lost to manny so why is it a big accomplishment that floyd dominated jmm when floyd had EVERY possible advantage? jmm really beat manny??? well, castillo really beat floyd.... either way, manny & floyd officially got the WIN.... so it doesnt matter. also, lets see what happens if floyd drops down to fight jmm @ LW... im sure it will be more competitive then what we got.
bottom line, floyd & pac are guilty for chasing big name fighters, regardless of the challenge. both are guilty for clever matchmaking....
open your eyes.

He's an educated professional and as a result offers an "educated" opinion, there is a difference between someone who has experience combined with education, when they offer an opinion it's taken more seriously than someone on the opposite end of that equation. Larry is the issh.

I've literally watched well over 2000 fights in my lifetime. I've gone to at least 100 fights. I boxed in the Army for four years. Does that make me an expert? A newby on this forum could still bring an insight that I nor Larry has not considered and we could be the ones that don't know what we're talking about. Larry does not know what the **** Floyd,Pac or any other fighter really thinks so he is assuming. He talks about how Floyd should be challenged and take more risks. Look at the guys like Ali, Gatti and Meldrick Taylor that entertained Larry. Many of them can not half ass talk or worst. Larry like many of you morons on here that has no clue what boxing is about. It's not about standing toe to toe and exchanging punches. That is a fight or brawl. Boxing is about hitting and not taking hits. Like I said before, if you get hit in the face that means you made a mistake or your defense needs work. If you want to watch two guys stand and swing for fences watch the UFC. Boxing is a thinking man's game. Honestly that is what made Ali one of the greatest. His biggest asset was he brought psychology to the forefront of the sport.
Thank you captain obvious.

cotto beat shane.
margarito beat cotto.
shane beat margarito.
you get it?!??!?!!?
how about ali, frazier, foreman????
ring a bell????
there was NO WAY shane was gonna beat floyd by OUTBOXING him....
shanes only chance was to try to get floyd to open up and FIGHT....
shane failed... so he lost.
