Fight Pirog, fight Cotto, fight Cintron again, fight Angulo, fight Sturm if he can, fight Williams a third time, just shut up about fighting welterweights just because you want money Sergio.
Martinez is a career JMW who said he would/could make 154 for either Pac or Mayweather. 155 for Cotto.

Martinez is calling out a JMW title holder. Excuses of HOW Pac got it is irreverent. Facts are facts. Pac = a JMW title holder. I believe that Pac allows announcers and media to say Pac is "former JMW champion".... Martinez is a (career) former JMW champion. His size has nothing to do with it.

Team Pac fought Margarito at JMW, Margarito who beat Martinez. Margarito who is taller than Martinez. Margarito who out-weighted Pac by what 16-17lbs? Its not about size, its about WHO the fighter is. They hand select certain fighters at certain weight classes at certain weights.

I remember when Mayweather Pac was first mentioned, Team Pac initially only wanted to fight Floyd at 142-143 lbs.... lol They wont even fight a LW in JMM at that weight! Again, its not about size its about WHO the fighter is = hand selecting certain fighters at certain weight classes at certain weights.

Size has everything to do with it, no matter how much you people say otherwise. Margarito is a career welterweight, who could make 150 just fine. Yet even that fight, a very easy one for Pacquiao, had him saying he didn't want to fight ever again at 154. He knows he can't do it. He isn't a title holder anymore, he vacated that belt as soon as he won it.

In Mayweather and Pacquiao, you have two smaller welterweights at the end of their careers and ability to climb up in weight. They each won a joke belt at 154 fighting someone they could easily beat. They aren't junior middleweights. Martinez needs to shut up and fight the people lining up to fight him at 154 and 160, rather than being a money chasing punk.

You gotta ask the the guy I responded too as he was pissed that Martinez was/is calling out Pac (too) at JMW.

I'll answer your question though. If its wrong that Martinez is calling out Pac than based off that logic its wrong for Martinez to call out Floyd.

Why are the standards so high for Floyd and not Pac? Both are former JMW title holders and both are WW's....

              • That's great for Sergio. Guy is a beast!! But, the problem here is...who's gonna pay Mayweather $100,000,000????

Your right BUT Mayweather didn't fight a De La Hoya who he could easily beat (I had Hoya winning). That was still a very game De La Hoya with all the advantages. Mayweather's credentials at JMW > Pac's at JMW.

Mayweather didn't fight again at JMW as yes he's more of a JWW but he ACTUALLY fought a legit fighter at JMW unlike Pac. Anyway, the point is if people believe that Mayweather should fight Martinez than using that logic Pac should be mentioned too as both are former JMW title holders and both are WW's.

As for Martinez, nobody at JMW or MW can touch him. The super six just needs to go ahead and give Ward the trophy. Martinez said he would possibly move up when the super six ends. Personally, I'm looking forward to it.

I don't think either Mayweather or Pacquiao should be called a duck for not wanting to fight Martinez. That's what makes me mad. There's a limit to how far a fighter can move up, and both of them have done plenty of moving up in their career. Martinez isn't calling them out to prove who the best in the sport is, he's doing so for money. He looks downright pathetic to me with how badly he is chasing them. If he wants money, try to make the Cotto fight happen.
