I think he saw many of them coming and was able to keep stable and calm. Shane did land a right that drove Cotto into the ropes late though.

That is true but Cotto ate alot of them over the top. But you're right in that Cotto saw them coming. When Mayweather got caught with that 2nd overhand right; Mayweather was throwing a left hook, so Mayweather never saw it.
