Their's plenty of boxers, even champions out there that aren't impressive but still win. Zab is winning which is all that matters. Do you really want him in their with prescott or something to earn a title shot? I for one, and a lot of others rather see him in their with one of the big 4 then face somebody he'll most likely beat. You seem to be a Miguel Cotto fan like myself. Would have really have wanted to see Cotto in there with anybody less then Judah? Who else could he have fault? Floyd obviously wasn't going to fight him. Clottey was a reasonable fight too because he had a 2 fight win streak and that's a decent fight with decent names right there. Boxings all about putting on the most exciting match up's, especially in this time where boxing isn't a top sport anymore. What kind of ******ed argument is that? Zab should get a shot at the best in the division because he's a better boxer than I am?
There's nothing wrong with him losing to guys like Floyd and Cotto, but the point is that he has not looked impressive for over 2 years now and has done nothing whatsoever to earn a shot.
And no, he doesn't deserve respect for his opposition. Most guys who lose their belts would love to get another crack without having to fight a top contender first And another. And another. And another. Loads of boxers only ever get one shot and then have to fight long and hard to earn another. Zab just gets them handed to him.Comment

Thank god Bradley-Judah isn't happening. Bradley needs to get a fight quick. If he wants to keep building the Alexander clash, he needs to fight Demetrius Hopkins, Kotelnik, or go back to the original plan, Abregu at 147.Comment

Good post. Ive always liked Zab too. There is no doubt that Zab can fight.Quit hatin'. Zab's no scrub. You gotta give the man even just a little respect for getting in there with the guys he's been in their with.
And of course you pick the fights were he fights no names. All the big fights he's been in have been exciting. Which gets me excited enough for Bradley & Alexander. I think if he still has that same speed him in, he has a solid chance.
The Floyd loss is excusable. Miguel Cotto overpowering him is understandable especially since that was at 147 and I doubt Devon or Bradley are as strong as Cotto. He underestimated Baldomir & Clottey is a dirty fighter. No shame in any of those fights. Lets see you get in there and see how you fare.
Btw..... you got Whitakers record wrong buddy.
Pea lost to both Hoya and Trinidad, then I remember he got some weird injury in the last fight of his career and lost to some guy who shouldnt have even been in the ring with him..... so, technically 3 losses

yep, Sweet Pea lost by TKO to Carlos Bojorquez(14-2-5) in his last fight because he suffered a broken left collarbone from throwing a punch in round two. The fight was stopped in round 3.prior to losing to Oscar and Tito,he lost to Jose Luis Ramirez by 12rd SD on 3/12/88 and he fought to a draw wit the great JCC in 1993. so his record ended up at career's end as 40-4-1. No slight on him though. He still is an ATG!Good post. Ive always liked Zab too. There is no doubt that Zab can fight.
