For over a week, promoter Gary Shaw has been waiting for a call from Zab Judah's representatives. Shaw told BoxingScene.com that last Monday he contacted Judah's father Yoel to see if they were interested in facing WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley on July 17 on HBO. you know what? People are going to call him a punk but I kinda respect it. He's taking a huge risk because he may never get this kinda shot again but I respect the fact that he knows he's taking some hard losses, brutal beatings, and he wants to work his way back up because he thinks that will be better for him in the long run. I said the whole time that this is what they shouldve done in the 1st place instead of him losing and then putting him straight back in with huge monsters. A
gain, he might be screwed because by time he's ready, he may not have any big fights to get but I guess he feels that if he wouldve takened these other fights then he may have lost because he may not be back to his normal self. He may also want to get a fight at 140 1st to see how he does and then he knows he will be ready. People will call him a ***** but I respect it. Its like he's finally showing maturity and knowledge of the game. You cant lose, lose, & lose back to back against big strong monsters and still be the same.
