it makes him more money IMMEDIATELY.

but let's be real, the only BIG money fights are against mayweather and pacquiao. shane beating margarito again, does nothing for him, in terms of helping him land a fight with manny, or floyd again....b/c he's already beaten margarito before.

shane beating a berto, or a paul williams, for example, will keep him placed as a P4P fighter, and whenever mayweather or pacuqiao mention a "next" fight, mosley's name will still be up there.

for example, if mayweather beats manny, shane may be out of gas, b/c he's already fought and lost to floyd.....

BUT, say he wants a pacquiao fight....if shane comes back and beats berto or PW, there might be serious consideration for pacquiao to give shane a fight, whether manny beats or loses to floyd, b/c by beating a "champion" in berto, or a P4P # 3 in williams, mosley will still be seen as a viable opponent.

mosley beating margarito again, does what?

Well I'm not sure how much credit I'd give him...

I've been pretty consistent in saying that I felt that the fight agaisnt Shane was an abberation, due to the wraps scandal, weight and all that. Shane I felt was way overdue for retirement based soley on the Mayorga fight.

So I'm not sure...I mean, I predicted a Mayweather KO, and felt Mayweather carried Shane. I think if Shane were to come back and KO some quality fighters and then Margarito beats him, then credit will be restored in my eyes. But if he if fights him next and wins...I won't give credit

My opinion is that Shane is still a top, top Welterweight. If Margarito comes back and beats him then I would give him a lot of credit for the win, even though I don't think Margarito should be back in boxing.
