forrest all wrong for floyd. boxing IQ, range, height, power, timing, great jab, etc... Not saying floyd wouldn't put up a great fight, but wild men like mayorga is forrest's achilles heel, not potshotters.

I think Floyd has the speed & reflexes to successfully counter Forrest, but Forrest has the solid jab to give Mayweather a lot of problems, tough one to call.

Ridiculous fight. Everyone knows Money May is the best imaginary fighter of all time. He always wins these.

When did Vernon Forrest become some sort of boxing god? RIP but I think you guys are severely overrating him. Save for his wins over Mosley (and only the first was impressive), he didn't exactly tear up the welterweight division. He couldn't get Vince Phillips out of there, looked so-so against Raul Frank and promptly gave up his title in his first defense to Ricardo Mayorga. Is it a tough fight for Floyd? Sure. It's also one I'd pick him to win.

The 2002 Forrest that beat Mosley? You're overrating Mayweather's capabilities, Forrest is too big for Mayweahter.

I can't see Floyd getting Vernon, he is so big, has range, was an intellignet boxer, and tough as hell. I can see Vernon pushing and wining the fight for the first 4 rounds, Floyd trying to adapt and counter over the jab, but getting caught the same why shane was, and then trying to pot shot all night, but not getting a decision, because Vernon will put in the work to win the rounds more convincingly.

Seeing as how Forrest ended up losing to someone smaller than him, I'm not sure that is the case. Vernon would have lots of problems with Floyd.
