When did Vernon Forrest become some sort of boxing god? RIP but I think you guys are severely overrating him. Save for his wins over Mosley (and only the first was impressive), he didn't exactly tear up the welterweight division. He couldn't get Vince Phillips out of there, looked so-so against Raul Frank and promptly gave up his title in his first defense to Ricardo Mayorga. Is it a tough fight for Floyd? Sure. It's also one I'd pick him to win.
I pretty much agree, Vernon is a tough fight for Floyd but I'd pick Floyd. Vernon's impressive wins over Mosley were because he was simply a mental and physical block Mosley couldn't get past.
