Neither did I dude, and it's even more disappointing for me considering that the Spurs probably had the best chance of any team to match up to the Lakers in the West. The Lakers won't have a very difficult time with the Suns.

While I'm a fan of Kobe my favorite team is the spurs and I can tell you the spurs had no chance...and I repeat no chance of beating the Lakers this year. In case anyone has forgotten, pre-bruce bowen, Kobe went crazy on the spurs and Bruce was the main reason we were as competative with the Lakers as we were. Now that he is gone...Kobe would have torched us big time. Neither George Hill, Jefferson, or Roger Mason are the answer. I wouldn't be shocked If Kobe went for 40-50 on us in the WCF.

If anything the suns match up better as Barbosa may give Kobe his hardest test defensively IMO as compared to other west conference teams.

Maybe its just that I haven't watched as much Spurs ball as I've watched in the past but George Hill did a pretty good job on Kobe during the closing games of the regular season and I felt his determination might have at least kept Kobe to one his 30 points on 8-19 shooting games. George even stepped up his overall play a great deal in the playoffs. But i dont know... You must've watched them a lot more than I did.

I agree, the suns might go 5, but the lakers are cake walking into the finals

I was just telling my cousin the other day that the Lakers have had the easiest road to the finals. What will be even funnier is if the Magic make it again (which will more than likely happen)because I still believe the Magic cannot matchup with the Lakers. IMO the Lakers my have the easiest road to the NBA championship and as a Kobe fan I'm loving it.


FWIW....I always root for the spurs, and I'm torn when they play Kobe and the lakers. If spurs are out, then I want/root for Kobe to win the Chip.

regular season and playoffs are two different animals. I just watched george hill get d1cked down by Dragic. If he can't stop Dragic (dude scored at will) no way in hell does he stop Kobe in a series and meaningful as the WCF's.
