Tim Duncan and Shaq were post players that commanded double teams because at their primes they were absolutely unstoppable. They made the perimeter players around them a lot better. Such unstoppable big men with tremendous skills are hard to find in the NBA. Athletic swingmen that can shoot in traffic are dime a dozen, although Kobe has been at the top of that list for years.

Oh and btw Robert Horry 7 rings as a supporting player. Kobe 3 rings alongside the most dominant post player of the last 25 years....

Lol Nesterovic and Oberto were role players dude... they probably wouldn't even start in the last 2 generation of Clipper teams.

If they get through the suns, this will be 3 years straight with Kobe making to the finals. It get harder and harder to hate.

Dude every team needs role players. Every winning team has had role players. The year that Lakers finished below the Clippers, they had ****ty role players. And the game of basketball is played with 2 big men. Nesterovic and Oberto are not very good big men, they are just below average role players that occupied the unimportant role in the Spurs backcourt. Not at all better than AC Green, Robert Horry, Slava Medvedenko, Karl Malone, Samaki Walker, etc...
