HBO released the numbers five days after the fight. HBO said the number was 1 million. NO ONE associated with HBO or Mayweather said it was 1.2 million. Mayweather/Marquez still drew more PPV's than Pac/Clottey.

Boxing fans all want to see a knockout with a pound for pound brawl resulting a true fight of blood and guts than a fight of hit and run with a pot-shot punch resulting in a boxing science clinic:smileysex
hey man speak for yourself!!!!! real boxing fans want to see good matches with fighters that at least appear to be evenly matched. this is not rome where death matches were the norm. no dont get me wrong i enjoy knock outs too. but i wont cry if the match is boxings version of a chess match.

          mad respect to both warriors.

now we gotta get this fight to happen,

i love boxing, i was crushed by the cintron williams cancellation.

looked like cintron was out boxing him very well, i had him up 3 rounds to none before all **** hit the fan.
yo amay for once we agree on something!!! i had cintron up as well. on paper i thought kermit was going to kill p-will. but we will never know until the rematch. which will still be a good match as both camps will go back to the fight board and come up with new plans. the fans will win in this match.

If those are the official numbers, that's pretty good.

Those numbers aren't official and if ellerbe is the one giving those numbers then i'd guess they are on the high side of the real estimate. My educated guess would be around 1.2 - 1.3 mil, which isn't too bad.

1.1M is the original number announce!!! Computers calculate right after fight ends, unless some *****s ordering fight after it ends?
the concrete numbers are ALWAYS released one week after the fight. in any fight it took a week for them to release the numbers for pac-clottey. floyd vs shane is no diff.
