1.1-.1.2 early number and 1.3-1.5 in the end are quite good. Hell it is LFoyd's second best number ever and his best ever as the lead man. Can't shake a stick at that.
    it's damn good.

i always thought 1-1.5m when the fight was announced.

now it's 1.4m and all of a sudden it didn't meet expectations? please......

    it did great.

****** people estimating 2 mil. plus. LMAO

Also alsong as everyone is making money it is most likely viewed and an internal success.

$60*1,400,000 is $84,000,000 in one night for just PPV not including sponsorship and the $22,000,000 (that was the overall live gate plus closed circuit, I don't know if the movie theaters were included already). So in real numbers something like $120,000,000 was made.

That is atleast a solid double if not a home run.

Seriously this whole discussion about who should get the bigger split is just straight dumb. Why is it even relevent to us fans.
If Cotto beats Foreman he would make a very healthy pay check. Hardcore fans might not want that fight but casual fans will buy it and so will Cotto/floyd fans(2 pretty large fanbases). That fight would do like 800,000 buys. He isn't exactly backed into a corner but he would have to deal with Arum.

Anybody who believed it was going to make 4 million is a ****in moron. I doubt Pac/Mayweather would even do that.

Floyd averages 1.3 so at least he's consistent.

Why is OST, penalties for being overweight, glove size etc important to us?

Right, that's why I keep saying Pac had a much better dance partner in Cotto. Cotto draws in more fans than Shane at the point in which he fought Manny.
