Do you think that is a fair comparison?

        tht's what i'm saying.

margarito-cotto. 2 fighters with huge fanbases , historic puerto rico-mexico rivalry , both champions , both at the top of 147 rankings......did what 400-500k?

pacquiao-marquez 2 , a long awaited rematch , pacquiao a star and marquez with mexican supporters for 130 lineal belt did 400k.

        anything above 400k is huge.

A little disappointing. I honestly thought it was going to do 2M+ easily.

Well like Mayweather told Brian Kenny when everyone thought Mayweather was duckin Mosley. He said Mosley is not a ppv attraction. So how can we blame this on Mayweather? **** Mosley was about to fight on hbo for free and split 3 million dollars. Just cause people know his name don't mean they wanna see him fight. So people get outta here with that Mosley is a bigger name than Clottey. Mayweather still made a lot of money much more than pac did with clottey. So if anyone lost it's golden boy not Mayweather.

                With Mosley?

                No way.

Floyd just did with Mosley almost what Oscar did in TWO fights with Mosley.

So visually a number like 1.1 would be a failure for this fight, because some fights are held to different standards.

Obviously money wise, it's not a failure, but it appears that way based on expectations.
But, that means everybody who was making a prediction as a whole got caught up to Schafer hype.

I predicted 1.5 but always said anywhere around the mili mark is a huge success.

Also another Mayweather fight has just broke the $1Million mark and he deserves the bigger split vs Pacquiao

Is Floyd gonna make 40 million fighting anyone else? No!!!

Seriously this whole discussion about who should get the bigger split is just straight dumb. Why is it even relevent to us fans.

                      Ofcourse it isnt.
24/7 alone probably generate several 100k buys.

                      People just enjoy needling *******s.
