1.1-1.2 is the early number but the number always go up in the final accounting, HBO should understand how to calculate buys although the numbers may be high if the number is 1.2 with a 15% bump (I think it is 10 to 20% they go up) 1.38 rounded up 1.4.

Yeah 1.4 aint bad at all bro. The hell got streamed out of that fight so Im shocked.

People are getting to spoiled with this PPV numbers from both Floyd and Pac. And, you bring up a good point. We're in the steam era. Imagine the type of numbers both Floyd and Pac would be putting up if there were no streams. Is like the Mike Tyson black box era. It hurts PPV sales because a lot of people are watching for free. But, it also proves how huge boxing still is as a sport. Without mainstream media help.

MMA would give a left testicle to get this type of numbers on a consistent basis.

as long as hbo , the cable and satellite companies , the promoters and the fighters all made tons of money. it's not a failure. a ppv failure would be something like jones-hopkins 2.

1-1.5 million were realistic estimates anyway. the fight got that.
