Solid number. Don't know if having a better undercard would it don a bit better. Close to a million and a half is not bad at all

undercards don't help with ppv numbers.

if they do , very little.


bulk of ppv's are bought by casual fans. undercards don't matter to them.

good undercards only attract the hardcore fans which is small.

i don't know about su****ious but you have to take numbers from the fighter's team with a grain of salt.

they'll usually go with a high estimate.

if 1.4 million is a high estimate , then iole's 1.1 million or so estimate is probably more accurate.

Yeah I think we should wait and see what the official statement is from hbo and Goldenboy but from what I read its not an estimate. Ellerbe is saying somebody notified him that the # was 1.4

Better undercard would have helped the sport in general.
When you have fights as widely viewed as these, it helps
to put boxing's best foot forward, but promoters would
rather save the $$$$$.
