I give you that both carry their last PPV's... And, Floyd did double Pac.

But, do you think Floyd benefited more with the 24/7?

Floyd is the bigger PPV draw. I won't argue that he knows how to sell fights. But, I also think Pac is the bigger live gate draw. I think Floyd sells the PPV while Pac sells tickets.

To me a more fair comparison was Floyd-Shane to Pac-Cotto both had 24/7 which IMO helps a lot. But, Floyd still sold more which proves he is the bigger PPV draw.

I definately think 24/7 played into it..cause people were more exposed to Shane..but I have a hard time comparing Shane to Cotto in terms of draw..Cotto has more drawing power I think..as far as live gate..I dont know..Horus had a thread that had the numbers posted..and it showed Floyd doing better numbers in that too..
anyways whats important is that boxing is getting good numbers..I really think Pac/Clottey could have done more with better promotion..and 700k is still good cause I feel he carried the fight..

great numbers. no tardation. u gotta respect golden boy and the mayweathers, they took a fighter who ppl thought was not a draw in mosely(look at roach's comments), and made him a top b side draw. not that mosely didnt deserve to be up there anyways, but no1 appreciated him. and this goes to show that two non latino americanse can stillbe big draws in todays boxing world.
