Also alsong as everyone is making money it is most likely viewed and an internal success.

$60*1,400,000 is $84,000,000 in one night for just PPV not including sponsorship and the $22,000,000 (that was the overall live gate plus closed circuit, I don't know if the movie theaters were included already). So in real numbers something like $120,000,000 was made.

That is atleast a solid double if not a home run.

I'm asking about the $22 million from the gate and closed ciruit btw, I know the gate did $11.1 million, just wondering where u got the other $11 million from.

I wasnt actually comparing them, but for fun lets compare/contrast

both were not considered attractions..as stated by Floyd and Roach previously(But Floyd still fought him, while the other didnt)
both didnt have big fanbases and couldnt sell out venues..
one was basically unknown to the casuals..the other was known to some, but had no drawing appeal..
one was a contender..the other was the welter champ..
..maybe we can compare Cotto/Pac vs Mosley/May..
where Cotto trumps Mosley in terms of drawing power..so lets basically say May carried this fight..the way Pac carried the Clottey fight..

I give you that both carry their last PPV's... And, Floyd did double Pac.

But, do you think Floyd benefited more with the 24/7?

Floyd is the bigger PPV draw. I won't argue that he knows how to sell fights. But, I also think Pac is the bigger live gate draw. I think Floyd sells the PPV while Pac sells tickets.

To me a more fair comparison was Floyd-Shane to Pac-Cotto both had 24/7 which IMO helps a lot. But, Floyd still sold more which proves he is the bigger PPV draw.

It could have done 1.5 if Pac would have had that K.O of Hatton BEFORE he fought Oscar. That would would have been perfect going into a fight like that.

Maybe.... If that would of happened it probably would of looked more like a legit fight. And, not get as bashed as it did before hand. People thought it was a joke cuz in everybody opinion Oscar was cherry picking Pac.
