Watching the replay (not in slo-mo), in real time you can see Cintron was off balance and the momentum carried him out the ring. OK, but from different angles it looks like he was able to put up an arm/glove to sort of break the fall and he landed partly on the apron and seems to have just missed the monitor. Then he sort of slips offs the table.
It's a crazy fall, but it doesn't seem that bad, considering. If it was bad, Jim Lampley would have probably started crying (he gets emotional sometimes) and Cintron being Cintron if he was in serious pain, he would have let it all out, but he seemed kinda quiet for a while.
Don't see why the doctor would lie, but who knows maybe he's trying to protect his rep. It does seem weird that Cintron doesn't really protest with much effort until he's on the stretcher. That's suspect.
So yeah, Cintron accidentally fell out the ring, you can give him that. But the way everybody reacted it seems like they all expected him to get back in the ring. The people there live didn't seem to think it was that serious. Like others are saying, he could have taken the easy way out to a payday. It's not about him winning the fight on the cards. It's the option of winning without getting hit no more. Or so he thought... but it's just an opinion that others have already stated as well.
