you can clearly see in the video that cintron had zero intention of getting back into the ring. if that spill took the wind out of him, then he was dead in the water because it was a 12 round fight and williams hits harder with his jab than that fall.

i used to skateboard and know the difference between a fall and a bailout, in judo it's called ukemi or front roll, that is basically what cintron did, by instinct of course, but non the less it lightened the weight of his impact and protected his head, with a small margin of injury.

after slithering down the the floor level, cintron laid there paralyzed like he he just been tasered, with no signs in his body language of trying to get up, trying to get back into the ring, trying to save face.

a paycheck is a paycheck i guess, and i for one am getting sick of these type of actions taking place in boxing with people still getting rewarded with a paid compensation. but whatever, no rematch is needed, if cintron wants another high profile fight or something close to it, he has to earn it by fighting everyone, other than that let him go to mma................ the same **** is going to happen there, just he wont be able to use i fell out the ring tactics anymore.

The doctor, Paul Wallace, is now defending himself. According to Wallace, Cintron was asked twice if he was able to continue and both times he replied "no." Wallace said he would have allowed the fight to restart if Cintron had indicated that he was capable of continuing.

"I did say I wanted the fight stopped because the fighter twice said he could not continue He was asked, 'Can you continue?' and he said 'no.' Twice. If he had mentioned to me something like, 'Give me a moment ... ,' I understand; these are warriors. Any hint that he still wanted to participate we would've given that to him. We would have got him up and given him a second evaluation," Wallace told The LA Times.

Once Wallace called the fight, he claims Cintron changed his mind and wanted the fight to continue.

its a shame cintron chose to take the easy way out because he was schooling williams and exposing him once again. williams is a tough guy who makes exciting fights but he gets hit way too much and can be outboxed by b fighters like quintana and cintron

Agreed. It doesnt make logical sense to me for Cintron to bail out having just turned Williams spaghetti-legged with a right hand. Then again, not a lot Cintron does makes sense to me.
