Comments Thread For: Donaire Feels Darchinyan Had No Interest in a Rematch

Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire believes his planned August rematch with WBC/WBA champion Vic Darchinyan fell through not because of the quibbling over Philippine television rights but because Darchinyan “doesn’t want to fight me.” [Click Here To Read More]

Can you blame Darchinyan for not wanting it? He knows he'd just get knocked out cold again.

And it was ******ed for Darch to want any of the Filipino TV rights if they had already given him the rights to Armenia and Australia.

and considering he's moving up to 118 where Montiel breaks champion's jaws...that's not a smart move...

haha, you haven't followed shaw's body of work over the years. dude is a complete sneak thief, shaw calls the shots, and if any resistance from a fighter or his camp for standing up for themselves, he either puts them on ice, or drops them, after having them inactive and footing their own bill for expenses which is usually at the very least fronted by the promoter and sometimes taken care by the promoter, shaw pulls the classic IOU, then never to come out of pocket, all the while putting his fighter that he's fussing with in financial distress, I.E. chico corrales, among others.

shaw is a greasy dude, who rules with an iron fist, and slithers about to pull it off.

he's my least favorite guy in combative sports.............
