Can someone please explain to me how Darchinyan thinks its ok for him to get Australian tv rights but Donaire shouldnt get Philipino tv rights? Maybe Vic finally got around to watching the replay of their fight and realized he got his ass kicked. I will never forget that jackass disrespecting Donaire in the post fight interview and claiming "I was never hurt"

There was an article on BS the other day that laid it all out concerning TV rights. Shaw wanted 50-50 right across the board, but Top Rank offered Australia, Armenia and a fee for the rest of the world. That wasn't good enough for Shaw. Both Donaire and Darchinyan wanted to sign the contracts, but the promoters weren't talking.

The fight wasn't scheduled till August 21. Just ridiculous.

I think vic does want the fight, but shaw doesn't want to work with donaire.

i saw one of the post fight interview where the interviewer asked Darchinyan when will he fight Donaire again and Shaw interrupted saying no will not fight him or something along those lines... if you look on youtube you will find it

If Darchinyan had dignity and class , he'd pay his own money to get a rematch with Donaire . He has to shut up and admit that Donaire is better .

I have to disagree with you on that one. I notice you are apparently a Pwill fan, and so am I. Some people have claimed on here that Paul shouldnt be fighting at 147 because he is too big. I say if he can make the weight, tough **** for the competition, and I will say the same applies to Donaire, if he can cut to 118 or whatever it is, and bring the pain 24 hours later, more power to him.
