Just because someone is good enough to do somethign does not make them a bigger man~.

        147 Ricky won a title.

Ricky started his career at 140 where did Floyd start his.

They were roughly the same size anyways and what do any of these question have to do with how big either man was when they fought each other directly?

Floyd weighed 151 on the night with Hatton , Ricky weighed 153 , again your ignorance to weigh-in weight and real fight weight is laughable and you call yourself a knowledgeable boxing fan , *** me you dont even know how a fighter is prepared in regards to a 30 hr dehydrated weigh-in and then rehydrated again to real fight weight ,

Do you understand what ODH vs Manny turned into because of weight ?

Do realize the difference between Hatton weighing 159 vs Collazo as opposed to Hatton weighing 152-3 vs Floyd KT and Castillo ?

Do you understand that a fighter coming up in weight is far more forgiving and less damaging , that he is a little slower but much stronger than a fighter going down in weight even by only a few pounds below his best weight ?

Jim, are you serious about this ****?

Floyd wanted Pacquiao - is that not a credible fight? Some (and I'm not talking Mayweather fans here) theorize that Berto was paid to stand aside because Mayweather-Pac fell through, and that Haiti was just the official line on why Berto dipped . . . so if that was the case, how is Floyd being forced?

The facts are this - Floyd was negotiating for the biggest fight in boxing and, some say, the biggest test of his skills. It fell through. So Floyd took on the next biggest fight in boxing and, some others say, the biggest test of his skills. And he passed with flying colors, better than a bunch of people reckoned he would. What you gonna do, Jim? Pretend like that all didn't just happen?

Did Floyd look in any way shook to you through all this? He talked **** to Mosley the whole build-up then made good on his words -- "your ass is mine, boy, your ass is mine" -- and beat Shane up. Where are you sensing this great fear, this need to be forced, in Mayweather's makeup?

You're in dreamland, Jim. Failing to get Pacquiao, Floyd wanted Mosley. And he got him. The End.

                  Exactly, man.

I love how this guy cites Floyd going to 154 as if it was for any other reason than to get De La Hoya. Floyd's boxing ability is what allowed him to pull that off, he was just barely a full-fledged welter when he fought Oscar, nevermind a junior-middleweight. It's Ricky Hatton's relative lack of boxing ability that prevents him from being really effective above 140, period. Mayweather and Ricky were approximately the same size - Hatton's plan was predicated on being bigger and stronger than Mayweather and Hatton's camp believed he was exactly that before and after they weighed in. Plus, that was a fight that had been in the making for years, since Floyd was a 140lber and Team Hatton told him their guy wasn't ready.

Yeah, now they mention it, Floyd was forced - forced up in weight, forced to wear Reyes gloves, etc. And these faggots think Hatton was in any position to demand Floyd come down to 140 to meet him? Shutdafuckup.
