Blame Paul Williams slow start on his corner!

I’m tired of reading posts from fans saying things like Cintron was outboxing Williams and/or Williams was being exposed. For the record: Williams slow start had nothing to do with any problem Cintron posed to Williams.

Paul started slow because he listened to the instructions that his corner gave him. His corner didn’t want him going after Kermit in the early rounds. The plan was to make Cintron the aggressor. Paul corner told him to stay behind the jab and W-A-I-T for Cintron to come to you. Once Cintron starts coming forward then drop the left hand on him and follow it up with a right hook.

Personally I think that was a dumb ass strategy. The plan should have been to pressure Cintron from the minute the bell rings in the opening round. If Paul had started the first round like he startred the fourth round then Cintron jumps out of the ring in the first round.

I just hope Team Williams recognizes they made a strategic mistake by telling Williams not to be the aggressor.

If they have a rematch and Williams is given the green light then Cintron gets destroyed in a round or two.

His timing was completely off as well though. Maybe he just needed to get warmed up but he looked bad in those 3 and a bit rounds.

Anyone who watched the fight can CLEARLY hear Peterson tell him to wat, box, counter and will put heat on him later. People are just trolling.

Williams was exposed. Floyd shuts him out, maybe stops him late.

i think they wanted to be careful and win a comfortable decision instead of going all out and risking getting caught

Anyone who says he was exposed is ******. When Paul put the heat on Cintron he wanted out of the fight.

and for the fans that believe mayweather or pac would wipe the floor with williams, i'm pretty confident mayweather and pac will retire without ever facing williams.

look, i have floyd #1 and manny #2 right now. i like and respect them both, but truth is williams is a serious threat.

can both pac and floyd beat him? more than likely, yes. however, it's a fight i'd still like to see.

one thing williams has that a lot of fighters seem to lack these days is a fighting spirit. you have to kill paul williams to stop him. fighting him is no easy task.

sergio martinez was spent after only 8 rounds with williams. cintron jumped out of a ring after tasting the punishers power.

              maybe berto will step up.

now I know you're smarter than that.

You're just trying to piss people off.

You really just make yourself look bad.

exactly. it's quite humerous that some people actually buy into the "cintron's momentum took him out of the ring and he wanted to continue".

bull**** that wuss wanted to continue...
