All doubts about his heart were cleared by the first Tarver fight. He looked like a shell of himself and still fought to a win over the best LHW in the world. Anything that happened after that fight is irrelevant when discussing his place in history. I dont think its even arguable, he is the most athletic fighter to ever lace up a pair of boxing gloves.Comment

So he didnt lose to Joe Calzaghe in embarassing fashion? I rank RJJ somewhere between Mario Veit and Robin Reid. That range. He was scurred to fight the greats of his time. Avoided the Benn's and Eubanks and Collins's. When he finally met Joe Calzaghe, Joe punished him and showed Roy to be the fraud that he was.Comment
