pretty much. a couple things didn't go perfectly for him. you can tell he wasn't satisfied with the cintron fight ending early, but what more can you ask for?

1st.... He doesn't rematch Martinez after their first fight, which would of been an pretty big anticipated rematch

2nd.... He then goes on to demands a 50/50 split with Pavlik thinking Pavlik's team would give in since it was a fight in high demand but they don't and Williams prices himself out and Pavlik takes the Martinez fight instead

3rd.... He then has to watch Martinez (they guy he just beat) destroy Pavlik and watch Martinez win the title and get the recognition and praise that he's actually been striving to get for himself for years now

4th... Now Williams can't even negotiate a fight with Pavlik or Martinez because of the rematch clause in their contacts from the first match and they might be tied up in a rematch which will consume them for the rest of the year

5th.... He predicts Mosley to KO Floyd (haha this one is not so bad but funny nonetheless)

and last but not least 6th... Williams is left to fight Kermit Cintron which ends being the worst fight of the year so far, and people are questioning the score cards in his favor for the fight as well

... smh hasn't been a good year for the Punisher

He also talked a TON of **** about Clottey after the Pac fight and this was just after he refused to rematch Martinez when he knew he lost. He was calling Clottey a coward and this and that but thats a bit rich coming from him after his recent stunts.

If you can't see the L's Williams have taken in the past few months then your blinded by love... He didn't get the Pavlik fight twice, Floyd and Manny aren't even thinking about him let alone considering him as an option, he beat Martinez then Martinez goes on to win the title he wanted and beat the opponent he wanted to beat ... He has a ****ty as fight with Cintron that like 100 people attend... Much similar to how he beat Margarito and then Margarito goes on to get the big match with Cotto and become the #1 welterweight... The Punisher just can't catch a break

i used to think pav would beat him also but the version of pav that fought martinez wouldve got his ass kicked.im not a paul fan but he comes to fight and takes a good punch

williams's problem is he keeps jumping from division to division. he needs to stay in a division, fighting the top flight opponents in those divisions, beating them, so then it appears to be indisputable that the top dogs in that division HAVE to fight him. if he stayed at welter he would have disposed of clottey, berto, possibly shane all ready.

not even close. its a bad match up for williams stylistically speaking. he's a pressure fighter at his best. there would be no doubt in my mind that pavlik ko's him.

The point is he could be MW champ right now and at this point would be fortunate to get a shot against a guy he got a very close win against in a fight he doesn't have the greatest chance of winning in a rematch.

If he had just played his hand better he could have just walked away with a W over a dangerous opponent like Sergio and never have to see him again. Now there isn't too many places for him to go to get him the notoriety and $$$ he is looking for.
