the worst part is that pavliks camp originally wanted the fight pushed back 2 weeks and williams camp said no.paul couldve been the undisputed mw champ which wouldve got him big fights between 154 - 168.really ****** move

2nd.... He then goes on to demands a 50/50 split with Pavlik thinking Pavlik's team would give in since it was a fight in high demand but they don't and Williams prices himself out and Pavlik takes the Martinez fight instead

3rd.... He then has to watch Martinez (they guy he just beat) destroy Pavlik and watch Martinez win the title and get the recognition and praise that he's actually been striving to get for himself for years now

4th... Now Williams can't even negotiate a fight with Pavlik or Martinez because of the rematch clause in their contacts from the first match and they might be tied up in a rematch which will consume them for the rest of the year

5th.... He predicts Mosley to KO Floyd (haha this one is not so bad but funny nonetheless)

and last but not least 6th... Williams is left to fight Kermit Cintron which ends being the worst fight of the year so far, and people are questioning the score cards in his favor for the fight as well

... smh hasn't been a good year for the Punisher

the last one isnt his fault but the others are true. i dont really consider his fight with cintron a bad fight, its like it was cancelled. no matter what their records say its a no contest in the eyes of the public.

i dont think pavlik is gonna talke the rematch with martinez though, and if he doesnt williams get the chance to become MW champ in a big and anticipated event which will finally elevate him to where he belongs.

Yeah that's what Merchant said, That Pavlik was going to move up. I think thats a good move for him because I dont see him beating Martinez in a rematch and I wouldnt pick him over Williams or Sturm either. So it's best for him to move up.

Question now is when Paul can get back in the ring and how soon. After a fight like that surely he just wants to get back in there and get another win under his belt. I wouldnt mind seeing Williams vs Angulo or Williams vs Berto

In all actuality Pavlik would of not only beat Williams he woulda knocked him out... Williams is wayyyyyy to easy to hit, leans in with his punches to, doesn't use his height, and doesn't have the speed to box Pavlik for 12 rounds, the power to keep him back, or the chin to take his punches... Williams woulda been the one jumping out the ring that night lmao

The problem with Williams is that he thinks he's a superstar.

                He is clearly not.

I honestly believed Williams deserved to be top 10 p4p but after last saturday hes off my list

His impressive power doesnt seem to carry against top level opposition, now Cintron is a better fighter than many people give him credit for but I thought he won enough of those rounds to get the nod. Williams needs to adopt a Hearns like style or hes going to get his myth busted. If he learned to fight tall and sharpen up his defense, because he can be somewhat slick hed be a force

154 seems to suit Kleka Cintron better, 147 he was just weaker.

I don't get that first post. Williams wanted the rematch with Martinez.
