After fighting Williams and Pavlik back to back, sounds like a good move to me.

Margarito will be a good paycheck and he can avenge his only real loss.

Then he can fight Floyd when he gets done.

Thats one of the few times where he actually won although he lost. I mean he gained alot of fans after his performance against Paul, I wouldn't say thats a lost lost. He can easily take care of Margarito and build his status up.

I think Martinez knows that a fight against Margarito would bring him a lot more money and is a fight he can win. A fight against Williams will be tough and doesn't bring a lot of money for him. And a fight against Mayweather is difficult because of his style and he may feel he is not ready just yet. Its good to have options.

Yeah, if Pavlik is out of the way then it seems like Paul Williams should be his next logical fight. But I guess fighting Antonio Margarito would give him a chance to keep the belt a little longer.

In a way I kind of hope he does make the Margarito fight, that way Pacquiao doesn't have the option of fighting Margacheato instead of Floyd.

Although knowing Bob Arum he will have Pac fight the winner of Foreman-Cotto instead.

i dont think avenging a loss that seemed more like a win (against williams) is not in the same level as avenging a loss that was a real loss (against margarito)...myself and many others thought martinez beat williams....you cant say the same with the loss to margarito.
