why does merchant hate floyd so damn much..every floyd fight he's just negative

for the same reason that when fighters get old they want only big pay days..I feel that before he dies he really wants to see Mayweather sprout that tail and shoot fire balls..He seems annoyed that floyd is not more offensive and can't seem to get past it. It's like the "Spurs" everyone admits that they were good but no one want to see them in prime time...The sad part is that even though Floyd stepped up his output and was more offensive, homeboy still was hating and making himself look dumb in my opinion.

He came across as a complete ass in Mayweather vs Mosley, he just tried to discredit Floyd as much as he could for the sake of it and was jumping to conclusions way too much, like when Floyd said "I just wanna ensure im on an even playing field, thats all I ask" and Merchant responds with "So what Floyd are you saying you think all of these guys are on steroids?!" I mean what the ****? He never said that.

see I think thats his job in the post fight interveiw..not to discredit the fight as it's happening. Boxing needs all the help it can get..we already have the best not fighting the best we don't need the announcers bashing the fighters, especially the good ones...Kinda messed up that when fighters turn 50 they can barely talk cause they have been hit to many times but we still want them to go in there like Gatti, kinda selfish a lil
