2 Solid Fights Deserve 2 Solid Rematches

Tarver/Johnson deserves a third fight but Quartey/Phillips doesn't deserve a second fight in my opinion. Phillips got outboxed for 6 rounds straight, was losing the 9th round until he caught Quartey and then got outboxed again in the 10th round.

Your wrong. Verno is a good fighter and Ike is a beast. This guy was retired for 5 years and takes on the #3 guy in his second fight back. He is going to get better every fight. He would have a chance against anyone and would easily beat Vargas right now

i understand where ur coming from... but when ppl jus come back, they hav to hav some serious popularity, like tszyu, or trinidad, so i think if anything he should get bigger fights if he wants a chance at the title. if he faces philips i dont think it will give him a better chance at a shot

Tarver owes Johnson another one even though he will dominate that fight

and Quartey really, really owes Phillips a rematch. if Phillips had fought the last round, he would have won the fight or gotten a majority draw! REMATCH BABY! but I think Quartey will give him a boxing lesson next time around

I agree Fuego but I would rather see your boy Chico grant my boy JL a rematch...sure last nights fight were fun and it would be good to see them again but lets all agree that Chico is a ***** if we never see him square off with JL again.
