2 Solid Fights Deserve 2 Solid Rematches

Tarver owes Johnson another one even though he will dominate that fight

and Quartey really, really owes Phillips a rematch. if Phillips had fought the last round, he would have won the fight or gotten a majority draw! REMATCH BABY! but I think Quartey will give him a boxing lesson next time around

If DLH fought his last round VS. Tito, he would have won...

    But "ifs" don't always work

i dont think any need a rematch. in most ppls eyes tarver won the first fight against johnson, he wins the second one also now.... the quartey fight, well, if they both wana get back on top of their respective division, then theres no point of having the rematch, cuz they aint that good, pointless IMO

Out of respect Tarver should give him the rematch, not only that it is the only fight out there for Tarver at Light Heavy to generate any buzz.

Tarver needs Johnson, because Roy nor Hopkins isnt getting up for Antonio. Moving up is the only option for Tarver.

Roy also stated he couldnt get up for Tarver or Johnson but if Hopkins wanted to fight then he would. So that singles out Jones. Both fighters are at a road block and really can only fight themselves to get a decent payday.

Hopkins only wants Johnson or Jones, there are much better fights at 160 for Hopkins then Tarver.

After seeing Tarver gas out last night like he did in the 12th in a fight that looked relatively easy for him to win any fighter with top condition pounds his ass.

Those fights at 175 wouldnt give Tarver the payout he is really looking for. Tarver wants those million dollar paydays and the only way he will get that is if he fights Johnson again or somehow lures Jones in.

Moving up is an option for Tarver but I believe at the cruiser level any of the top cruiserweights would pound his ass.

Your wrong. Verno is a good fighter and Ike is a beast. This guy was retired for 5 years and takes on the #3 guy in his second fight back. He is going to get better every fight. He would have a chance against anyone and would easily beat Vargas right now
