One round advantage to Tarver. Great fight.
Did anyone score Tarver-Johnson?

hmm
I felt it was even going into 11, which Johnson won, and Tarver win the last round. That makes a draw. I don't dispute the result but HBO did seem to be giving Tarver way too much props, he wasn't even moving Glen. Tarver may have won his rounds more clearly but Johnson won just as many I think. I'll score it again. Tarver threw a lot of pitty pats just like the last, but he just threw more of them.Comment

even rounds are allowed by all sanctioning bodies and all state commissions....but they SHOULDN'T be allowed, remember that English **** scoring Lewis-Holyfield 1 as 115-115? He had 2 EVEN ROUNDS! What a crock, there's no such thing as an even round, you're either better than your opponent or worse, which of course is subjective to the judges opinion, but there should never be rounds scored 10-10 for any reason....
anyhow, 115-113 Tarver is what I had, round 12 was the clincher (same thing with Quartey over Phillips, round 10 was the decisive round)Comment

I wish I could think of a classic example off the top of my head right now but I can't.
I will agree that it shows indecisiveness, but what if two opponents were jabbing each other 1-to-1 non stop for three minutes, neither backing up, neither hurt, a mirror of each other?Comment
