    Did anyone score Tarver-Johnson?

I thought it was pretty close. Obviously Tarver's the much slicker, more skilled boxer - but then we knew that anyway. I thought the commentary team were a little harsh on Johnson at times, whose incessant pressure did earn him a few rounds.

I had him nick the first two, which were pretty even, and I had to score the sixth even. Tarver (if I remember correctly) did a lot of dominating work in the last minute - but Johnson had already been backing him up for the first two.

Add to this rounds 5 and 11 and I made it 115-114 Tarver.

An okay fight, but not as great as the first? Round Eleven was a classic though.

What's with Larry Merchant and his "final thoughts"? Has he always done this? He comes over like a dazed Jerry Springer - or should that be Jerry Atrick?

I didn't see the fight, but which round did you score as a tie?

The sixth. I could be wrong, I'm willing to take it back - and the first two. It's kinda hard to accurately score stuff when A. It's close and B. You're getting into the fight.

I sometimes wonder how these judges don't get carried away and forget to write down their score...

Call me crazy, but i had it a draw. I scored the 12th for Johnson because Tarver didn't want to fight. I also gave him 5, 7(questionable, i know), 8, 9, & 11.
