i think cintron was feeling williams start to come on, and williams ate cintrons best shot, i don't know about yall, but i didn't see williams hurt or stunned, or even buzzed, i did see him get hit cleanly by a couple of cintrons counter punches, but williams kept working and throwing punches.

i think cintron after he fell out the ring, flew, jumped, whatever, but once he went out, he was looking for a way out, plain and simple.

i saw no conduct in cintron that was of championship ilk, for some reason or another cintron opted to not fight, because had he really wanted to fight, he would've lobbied for the 5 mins that he was complaining about after the fight, that he should've got, he could've told the doc to piss off, he also could've used that incident to get fired up, but kermit let it put out his fire for the fight.

not impressed, never been impressed with cintron, and can give two ****s if he cries and wants to leave boxing, i say good riddance to be honest, only if cintron belly ached more about getting back in the ring like he belly ached about getting the fight to continue after getting ko'd by a punch against martinez.

where was kermit's will to fight last night? why didn't he push for the fight to continue like he did against martinez, he was WAY MORE HURT FROM THAT MARTINEZ PUNCH THAN THAT SPILL OUT THE RING, that is for damn sure.

there is a valid point about the four rounds not being completed and should be a no contest.

cintron in my assessment of the fight opted out of the fight. he might have been doing good but he doesn't have the confidence and was feeling like williams was starting to kick it into high gear.

i think cintron gave in mentally. he should've made more of a stand of getting back into the ring instead of letting the doc wrap up his neck and put him on a stretcher.

I defer from what many people are thinking, even though there is no clear explanation if Cintron leaped or tripped, I do not think Williams was on the verge of getting it on as many think, hell from what I was seeing Cintron was out boxing Williams and making Paul miss, on their hand Williams was tentative, and was getting countered, another point could be made is that Cintron could have seriously hurt Williams at some given point, that fact is it's speculative to say either fighter was going to win...

The only thing for sure is that Cintron was winning that fight and got jobbed.

This fight once again makes it clear that even though Williams is a good fighter, he is heavily overrated, Paul is more of a B class fighter than the A class fighter many want to make him seem.

As for Cintron, he should try and get a rematch as soon as possible, if he really wants to make a statement, if Williams camps refuses then, we'll know that the "Most avoided fighter" crap is just a marketing fluke...

Cintron was clearly pissed he was not allowed to fight. For those who say he jumped out of the ring. c'mon son.. their feet got tangled up. I AM NOT A CINTRON FAN by any means. But he apeared to want to fight. Furthermore, for any of you guys who calls ANYBODY who steps into a boxing ring a coward, is BS.

From my stand point, he was holding his own and was landing the better shots. I am tired of people say Paul Williams is so great just because he throws a lot punches, newsflash he gets hit a lot as well, like he was last night. What big wins does he have on his resume anyway? Margarito, washed up Winky Wright.. Martinez.. did he really win that fight.

I could not watch the fight on Saturday night and I was going to watch it on HBO Demand tonight. The only problem was is that everything from Adamek- Arreola to Martinez-Pavlik are available on HBO Demand but this fight is not. I am just wondering if HBO has a time period before the fight is available on demand, or are they simply to embarrassed to show this piece of crap of a fight again?

I think once they started to exchange Kermit got scared and dove right out. Why wouldn't you at least try to grab the ropes? It looked as if he tried to maneuver so he would go straight through without even touching the ropes.

I'm happy he took a dive (literally). That guy has lost any respect I had for him. He went way down on the list after the false headbutt crying against Sergio, and now jumping out of the ring when it started to get tough.

That guy is a heartless piece of **** and I hope he doesn't get a rematch unless he is going to accept no money and refund all the people who bought tickets.

yeah that was after he got hauled out in a stretcher. before that he was acting like his back was broke.

rewatch the vids on youtube... their feet wasn't tangled... cintron jumped out

yep "appeared" is the key word.

yeah, cintron stepped into the ring, but he also jumped out of it.

then why'd he jump out of the ring for?
