it would be an even worse than the first one. why would anyone want to see that fight? theyre both old and past their primes. if either one of them is going to fight again, Dawson is the guy to fight.

Calzaghe would be coming off almost a two year lay-off if they fought in the fall... and a two year coke drug binge... Of course Hopkins would win

I saw a completely different fight to you, obviously. Although it was scrappy, this was the way that a Hopkins fight degenerates. There is no doubt in my mind but that Calzaghe won very comfortably, and if the fight had been anywhere else, Hopkins would have been either DQ for butting, foul blows, faking fouls to get a 5 minute rest, and the various other shennanigans that always mar a Hopkins fight.

At very least, the ref should have penalized him EACH time after the first time, and if that had happened, and Hopkins had been deprived of his rest periods, he surely would have folded. As it was, he was well out of his comfort zone, very obvious to all viewers.

Hopkins is done. He will get beat by Bute for certain. Calzaghe, if he comes back, better not waste time fighting Bernard when there are half-a-dozen better opponents out there @68 or 75.
