        Pavlik is ****ed! if he moves up Bute is there waiting...if he stays at MW Martinez is there...I think he has a better shot fighting Paul Williams but IMO he still loses.

            its actually not unheard of to lose that much in a day. it is incredibly draining on your body though. you have to be an elite athlete to be able to perform after a drop like that. not saying its an excuse on pavliks part though.

            i think he should move up to supermiddle if he really is having that much trouble making weight. there are still some middleweight fights out there for him. sturm or sylvester if he's willing to travel to europe. i dont think he can compete with the elite supermiddleweights, but he would make some entertaining fights with some of them at least. pavlik was never truly elite in my opinion, but he still has some fights left in him.

                  Pavlik's team should have written into the contract that if Martinez won, a rematch would take place at 164. Same thing Jermain did when he fought Pavlik.

                  Seems Pavlik's team don't have the foresight or professionalism in some cases (that cutman debacle).
