During the live HBO broadcast of Paul Williams-Kermit Cintron on Saturday night, HBO commentator Larry Merchant informed the live audience that Kelly Pavlik has waived his right to a rematch with WBO/WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez. From what I was told, by sources close to both sides, Pavlik has NOT "officially" waived his right to rematch and still has until May 17 to make up his mind.
