I think Roach is a good trainer, but its rants like this that make me question his sanity every day. No way in hell Manny knocks Floyd out. When you stay in the pocket and fight you dont use a lot of movement Roach, damn - you are trainer so I know you know this. I cant wait for Floyd to shut Roach's mouth when/if they finally fight. Pac fans can defend Manny all they like but the su****ion and doubt has been raised to a level where the testing is a MUST to resolve the issue. Even if PED-filled, manny will not win - not a technically sound fighter. A good fighter, but not technically sound.

All three of the fighters you have just mentioned (Cotto,Hoya,Hatton) had all been stopped before. So it was not far fetched at all to believe it could happen again. Anybody that tells you, that Floyd Mayweather is an easy fight for anyone, does not know much (if anything) about boxing. Plain and simple, we all know that Freddie Roach knows boxing. So I have to assume this was something other than a serious statement. Even in a victory, Floyd Mayweather J.R. is not an easy fight for anyone. If somebody believes this, then the conversation should end abruptly.

The more Roach makes comments like this, the more I'm convinced they want no parts of Mayweather - the tests will be the sticking point again and the reason they walk away from the negotiating table and make a fight with Margarito.
