I. Re-watched the fight last night, trying to see if his legs where gone and I seen nothing but an attempt to plant his feet for more sting in his punches. Floyd didn't even attempt to run, that's what makes that win even better, its a shame they focused on the shakeyness of floyds legs rather than the rest of the fight.

The Mayweather i seen fight last week with "no legs" is the same floyd i saw fight zab, Castilo 1 & 2, corrales, and hatton. If roach was shocked that he stood toe to toe then he is in a world of trouble. Because floyd can fight in a phone booth or on his toes. IMO, to believe that FMJ would fight Pac in the same style he fought Mosley is as ludicrous as those on here that said based on the Pac/Clottey fight that Mayweather would destroy Pac. NEITHER fighter is going to fight the other in the same style that they fought their last opponents. Lets be real...

As for all the back and forth in this thread about history and what defines it, both arguements are essentially correct. IT JUST DEPENDS ON THE CONTEXT IN WHICH THE WORD IS USED. It is the study of events OR a single event that happened in the past.

The Wright brothers made history when they were the first to fly an aeroplane. The first time they flew made history because it had never been done before.

You go to the doctor and tell them that you just started having pain in your leg. Is that history? No. It hadn't hurt before then. If you go back to the doctor 6 months later and tell them that you still have pain in your leg, then you have a history of leg pain.

It's all CONTEXTUAL....

Does Pac have a history of asking for a catchweight? Yes.
Does FMJ have a history of not making weight? Yes.
