Just because Mosley had great stamina in the De la Hoya fight 10 years ago doesn't mean he's in the same kind of shape at this age.
thank you...jesus, these people want SOOOOO bad to say Mosley was at his BEST when Mayweather handed him a beatdown so THEY can turn around and say how great Mayweather is/was for beating Mosley. Well, guess what...THAT WASN"T THE BEST MOSLEY WE HAVE SEEN. Get over it. Mayweather won. Be happy and stop finding excuses to whine

No, actually it's not a fact. Mosley was not "gassed" in the third round. It's a convenient excuse from idiots that don't understand what an adjustment is.

Just because he wasnt on wobbly legs does not mean the punches werent having great effect.

Oh, I acknowlede they were affecting him, all night as a matter of fact. But, in the later rounds, when you know you are behind and his best punch hasn't seriously hurt you...what's stopping a puncher like shane from letting it all go to at least TRY and win with something big. You see what I'm getting at? I dunno man. Good win though by Mayweather. Shoulder roll/straight right worked like a charm

Exactly, its funny how he comes out doing great the first two rounds, then "magically" he's gassed, drained, ect, the man was neutralized, and im not saying he fought Mosley at his best, its a fact that it was an older mosley comming off a layoff, still the reason he lost is becasue he was in there with a better fighter.

Mosley had great stamina in his last two fights. You don't have to go back 10 years. Claiming Mosley was "gassed" the moment he started losing is an obvious excuse and ignorant. Ignoring the mental aspect of boxing is also ignorant. Common sense will tell even the most basic boxing fan that an ineffective fighter that's missing, getting countered and discouraged, will eventually tire. Regardless of age. These excuses mean nothing after the fact. Where were you with this before the fight? This is as pathetic as the Margarito "was mentally shot" excuses.

There's no denying this was a great win and awesome performance from Floyd. But fighters age overnight, and Shane looked that way against Mayorga at certain times. Shane turned the clock by knocking out Mayorga and then Margarito, but that fight was 16 months ago.

When did Shane ever have take a layoff that long and fight a guy as great as Floyd? How many 38 year old elite fighters take 16 month layoffs to fight a prime opponent who's even more elite. He was huffing and puffing in between rounds. He at least made an effort against Winky, Forrest, and Cotto, but he couldn't pull the trigger last week. Even Hatton, although failing, put pressure on Floyd in the later rounds.

I had a fight party at my place with a bunch of people, mostly casual boxing fans, that noticed it also. Me and one other homeboy are diehard fans and we sat silent as we watched after round 2's excitement and listened to what the majority of them were saying. Shane's not fighting back/Shane just stopped fighting. It was kind of embarrassing hosting a fight party about the most hyped fight of the year and then all of them looking at me hahahaha and saying this ****. I guess all one can do is laugh man. Oh well

That's what my friends and I noticed too. At the end of the second round, my friend (who's a casual fan) mentioned how tired Shane already looked. I told him it was just for the moment and Shane has great stamina. I waited 9 rounds for the second wind that never came.
