I agree with dunkin that it's not the fighters' fault and they're not afraid of each other. But based on my own point of view, I would think that it's more beneficial for top rank to match donaire with montiel because top rank promotes both fighters, so arum will pocket the whole purse rather than spliting 50/50 with shaw. Additionally, ninito has a better chance to beat montiel than he can beat the new Darchinyan who can kill ninito with a single punch. an additional possibility, that top rank has deliberately presented a ridiculous deal that shaw laughtered him and rejected, because from the previous records, top rank in order to make the fight not happen he'll make a ridiculous offer that the deal will fall off by default game plan. It's called "top rank's cat and mice game".
No question about the first fight when ninito admitted that he was looking for Darchinyan to open himself up so he can counter, just as it happened with even a plus fortune for ninito when Vic lunged in and double the impact. Ninito hit Darchinyan many times with clean and strong punches, why he couldn't KO him earlier? That's because both ninito and Vic know that they both contributedofo the KO. Man.. Vic should not fight an unknown fighter, he should fight those with class because if he lose to Barcelona, Darch would be gone and his potetial fight with Donaire will never a reality.
