He was an underdog against Hernandez and Corrales, but only a very slight underdog as the odds were nearly even. That's what happens when you have a great amateur career and dominate almost every opponent you face as a pro, pretty soon people learn not to bet against you. In the last 7 years or so I think the closest he has come to being an underdog was against Oscar and against Hatton, he was only about a 2-1 favorite in each of those fights. Floyd was 2.5-1 vs Marquez, 4-1 vs Mosley, 4-1 vs Gatti, 5-1 vs Judah, 6-1 vs Baldomir, and 11-1 vs Shramba Mitchell.

Corrales was undefeated and ranked #5 P4P at the time. Mayweather was ranked #7 P4P. There were lots of people who thought Corrales would win.

Pacquiao came into the Barrera fight with 2 losses. Mayweather has never come into a fight with a loss.

You guys act like it means Pacquiao has achieved more in his career just because he's been an underdog before. When you're as good as Mayweather (Pacquiao isn't) and undefeated, you aren't an underdog ever unless you're fighting a guy way bigger than you.

Floyd has never been the betting underdog.

It is completely logical. If you are the best, you will always be considered a favourite.

Even against the "so called best p4p" Mayweather has opened as a solid betting favourite at -140.

and i bet mayweather set that whole charade up so he could have 2 easy fights in a row against judah and baldomir while pretending margarito didn't exist. probably threw some money at kenny and told him to say that.

I see that I was right and you arent ever going to give him any credit. Now come back with your sarcasm. Seriously though, its alright to give the man credit sometimes even if you dont think he's as great as other do
