    This is a paradox!

If both things were true, Lennox would've touched canvass at least once in there 2003 fight. Lennox was hit flush with powershots from Vitali and didnt go down.

So my question is why wasnt there a knockdown?

uh no one said vitali was the hardest puncher. youre just starting up a bull**** thread to hate on vitali.

You know as well as everyone else that most of vitali's stoppages are in the late rounds and are accumulation.

this is pretty much a blatant troll thread

Anyway, as I recall Lewis himself admitted after the fight that Vitaly is hardest puncher of all he met.
Watch that video that someone posted, Vitali hit Lewis with clean shots on the chin many times, if that was Tyson, Tua, Wlad etc Lewis would have got KO'd. Vitali stops people by accumulation of punches, he hasn't got great punch power.

Have all been down more times than Lewis. The glass chin theory was a fad propagated by the jealous American media and later the Klitschko fanbase.

Hes only been down twice in 44 fights! Hell Wlad has been down more times against Ross Puritty than Lewis has his entire career.

And how many times was Wlad down against Purity noob?

        You havent seen the fight

yeah what most of his opponents say is that theyve been hit by harder single shots but they never been hit as hard consistently over the fight, that every shot was hard and so the damage builds up. He is kinda like Rafa marquez, heavy handed where even if it doesnt look like much they are still hard shots though other guys have bigger max power when they land the right shot.

Vitali is a strong guy and very big too but he doesn't have the 1 shot ko power that little bro who I think maybe the hardest puncher to ever lace them up or at the very least top 5 has.

Being that Vitali is so strong and punches in volume even if he throws alot of arm punches it wears opponents down being hit so much by a 250lb man punching down usually because he is so tall.

Still if he was featherfisted he would not have 37kos in 39 wins.

Not really, that was a lunging shot that didn't have that much power behind it, the others were not clean.

Vitali has the highest KO% for a heavyweight, 29 of his 37 KOs happened in 6 rounds or less, he Ko'd his very next opponent Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds. Thats a statement of fact.
